Takanadobaba evening / Odaiba visit

Saturday (5th) evening, I joined a friend, Tom, in Takanobaba. "Baba" is Tom's headquarters, he knows many nice bars & clubs here.
We had a really fun night going from bar to bar (4 of them !), with various ambiance (rock, jazz, relaxed) and we met some neat people as well. I'd like to recommend those bars but I don't know the address or names (Tom ? ).

We left the last bar at 6h30, then I took the circular train line to go home ( normally a 10-15 minutes ride). I fall asleep, and after an almost round trip, I woke up very confused to find myself behind the station I just left.

Sorry I have no pics, but it was a really cool evening in "Baba".

I woke up surprisingly "early", and decided to visit Odaiba.

Odaiba is a new, super modern area built on top of polders ( low-lying lands reclaimed and built on top of water ).

The tube line slaloms between huge glass cathedrals, gigantic malls, and museums.

I've stopped to visit the Miraikan, a museum dedicated to technology & science.

( It's the public toilets next to the museum ! )

Also, check Dr Evil's lair in this pic :

The Miraikan :

Pretty cool museum with lots of interesting stuff and things to try (think "La Vilette" if you know it in Paris). I've seen a few robots, however Asimo ( the famous robot from Honda - I think- ) was on repair :-/

Well, I'll go back there anyway.

Funny thing : The maritime museum was shaped like a boat... This is so 70's - and surprising for the area.
